Good news that the fundraising campaign for a statue to the fossil hunter Mary Anning has almost been successful, and a statue will almost certainly be installed in Lyme Regis, with Mary heading for Black Ven where she made some of her most important finds. There's still some fund raising to go, but the trajectory is good...

As a regular annual visitor to Lyme Regis, I'm looking forward to seeing the statue in place.
