GA Conference 2021 #3 - Registration deadline extended

Easter Monday was the original deadline for booking for the conference, but this has now been extended to midday on Wednesday the 7th of April. There is still time to book onto the conference and join us.

Conference joining intructions are coming out to all delegates. You may already have received yours, particularly if you are speaking at the event. You will need to select a password to enter the venues. All sessions will be recorded, and you can join any session you want on the days you have booked for - there is no booking required for attending any session.

There is a YouTube channel for some events, including the Public Lecture by Anjana Khatwa and the GA Awards Ceremony on the Thursday evening, which is followed by Dressed Up Drinks.

The main conference area is looking wonderful with a schedule of events, which can be added to your calendar to help you schedule your day(s). These spaces will open on the day.

There is a help desk, which will be manned between 9am and 6pm throughout the conference.

I'm also excited at the Wonder Rooms, which have been put together for the social events and offer flexibility. They are open throughout the conference and allow for groups to discuss or present rather than having to listen to one person who is speaking at the time.

I may experiment with those myself as well as a way to meet with colleagues and friends.

Susan Pike has put together a fantastic programme of speakers and workshops and I can't wait to get started on enjoying what our community has to say.

Well done to everyone at Solly Street who has worked so hard to put together this fantastic online space where we will all meet, particularly Harriet Brookes and Becky Kitchen.
