GCSE and 'A' level fieldtrips

A piece by Steve Brace on today's TES website is a reminder of the need to respond to the current OFQUAL consultation, which ends on Friday, Fieldwork is an essential component of geography, but it is threatened with removal from qualifications. This will remove a key element of the course, and an opportunity for the development of important social skills, and the building of relationships between staff and pupils. Good to see that if you click the link to an example of students exploring coastlines, you will see some of the work of my colleagues who went out to the Norfolk coast last week.
