A new resource from Paula Owens
Created by Paula Owens as part of the Stay Home Stories campaign website.I have loved working on these resources for @RGS_IBGschools & they went live this morning! Hope you enjoy them & they come in useful for autumn term planning - once your head is back in that space. #StayHome #maps #meaningfulmaps #primarygeography https://t.co/hBX6GXEhPH

These are excellent.
There are map resources with five sections. There are five themes for the resources, each of which can be done separately or as part of a longer unit. All of these themes have activities suitable for KS1 and 2. In this series of lessons, we will explore how children might perceive and map their homes, their lived experiences within them, and in their home neighbourhood and local area. There will be opportunities to dip in and sample resources from different lessons or start at the beginning and work your way through to build a coherent and longer unit of work. Ideas will be provided for both KS1 and KS2.
