Interesting piece by 'The Guardian' on the most sustainable foods.
Useful for our unit of work on food and the future, which will get a bit of a tweak for the year ahead. They suggest that there are number of sustainable foods which it may be worth switching towards. It's certainly important to eat less meat (particularly beef) in our diet because of the resource-heavy methods of production compared to other food sources.
The Sustainable Food Trust gets a mention.
