GA Welsh SIG on Transition

The transition from primary to secondary is a key time for all students, and the last few years has disrupted that somewhat for all concerned: teachers and students. It's a period which can be very positive, or can result in a reversal of progress made during the latter stages of KS2.
With a new Curriculum for Wales emerging and being developed and 'made' in many schools over the coming years, what are some appropriate areas to focus on, and how can Estyn help with the process?

I will be joined by Michelle Gosney from Estyn and other Welsh colleagues.
Thanks to Gill Miller of the GA's Welsh SIG for asking me to be involved in the event.
