GAConf22: 'Developing a professional development framework' - #12 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

Professional development is an important element of the GA's work.

The GA offers a range of opportunities for both departments and individuals to have their work validated through the submission of a portfolio, which is assessed. This includes the GA's Primary and Secondary Geography Quality Marks for departments, and the GA Professional Passport for individuals.

The GA has been working to create a professional development framework for teachers of geography so that they can better navigate the CPD options that are available to them. Join us in this session to hear more about the concept and also provide your feedback to shape the framework’s evolution.
