GAConf22: Dialogic diaries to foster students' critical appraisal of 'Fundamental British Values' - #11 of many
The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.
This session was inspired by Nicola Walshe’s use of dialogic diaries, which has previously featured in GA journals and also at the conference.
Here's a description of the session:
This workshop disseminates my MEd research on students’ critical appraisals of so-called ‘Fundamental British Values’ and offers participants hands-on experience of dialogic diary writing and analysis. The session will foster skill sharing and invites discussions of how dialogic practice can be embedded into the everyday geographies of both students and practitioners.

I'm very excited to say I'll be facilitating a workshop at @The_GA's conference on how practitioners can foster students' critical appraisal rather than passive subscription to these so-called #FBVs.
