GAConf22: Making connections between lived experiences and school geography - #23 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

This will be a very popular session.

It is presented by Margaret Roberts.

Why is it important to make connections between our lived experiences and what is taught in school geography? Why is it important for teachers? Why is it important for students? This session will refer to both everyday experiences and the not-so-everyday experiences of visiting other places, illustrated with examples from my own life and career.
