GAConf22: Weather 101 - Why weather matters - #24 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

This is presented by Anthony Barlow of the GA's EYPPC.

Ofsted, in their Research Review (2021), suggested that an understanding of geographical concepts in primary geography relies on a good understanding of weather. This session will explore what the main aspects to cover are, and how these everyday observations link to ‘big picture' ideas in climate studies such as biomes and vegetation belts.
