11 000 posts

I've now passed 11 000 posts here on the LivingGeography blog.

I may have missed the odd day in the last 14 years or so, but this has almost been an everyday labour of love to share stories that come across my desk, emails and increasingly social media feeds. As with any blogs, it took a while to find an audience - a few thousand views in the first year or so, and then began to accelerate.

There was a period a year or two ago, when visitor numbers started to surge, and now it's settled to a regular readership of between 500 and 1000 visitors a day with a little variation either side and the occasional spike, and a total of over six million page views.

If you haven't been to the blog before, where have you been for the last fourteen years :)

It's also possible that you've recently found a website which if you'd been following this blog you wuould have known about before... there was a lot of excitement recently about a web tool which I had blogged about in 2017 :)

There's a search box top right column of the blog where you can search for any geographical topic and probably find something that would be useful.
