GAConf22: Everyday Enquiry - #94 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

Enquiry is a central tenet of geographical learning

This session will consider the enquiry process and how asking questions of everyday objects can allow pupils to learn not only about their local neighbourhoods but also contrasting localities that often feel ‘removed’ and abstract.

Once questions have stimulated curiosity they act as a catalyst for a range of actions, re-actions and interpretations, all of which will be explored here through practical activities, discussion and debate.
