The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.
I'm excited that Alistair Hamill is going to be coming over to the GA Conference for the first time to share some of the work he has been doing recently. Many people will be familiar with Alistair's work with GIS.
The everyday world of geography today is one where we can now access vast, reliable and timely secondary data sets via satellite imagery and remote sensing, through the use of GIS. This session will be a practically focused, classroom-orientated look at how these data sets and digital tools can unleash powerful learning about pressing global issues for our students.
