How can we teach about the everyday in a way that is reduced but not reductive?
Teaching the ‘everyday’ presents many challenges for geography teachers. How can we convey the stories of people and places in a condensed yet accurate way when curriculum time pressures are so great? This session will explore a range of tools that teachers can use to reduce content without being reductive, moving beyond teaching about everyday experiences towards teaching through them.
