Inspiring geography at key stage 3


This session is about engaging and inspiring students at KS3 – using topical content and themes around big ideas and issues that 11-14-year-olds find relevant, e.g. human rights and sustainability. 

It will look at approaches to what makes geography inspiring with reference to the GA’s new publication Geography 11-14: Exploring our changing world. 

The focus will be on discussion with delegates about their own experiences in teaching at KS3.
