Mr Sock, The Archbishop, and the Red Wall: pupils’ views of a locality

How can teachers encourage pupils to both geographically understand and positively engage with their locality? 
Using the negative geographical connotations of a ‘red-wall’ locality and 8 Way Thinking, this session will explore the use of puppets and photography in EYFS, the Archbishop of York Scheme in KS1-2, and Composition and Effect in Music based on the locality in EYFS-KS2.
