GAConf22: Slow Ways: a (non)citizen guerrilla geography project - #135 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

I couldn't have a conference that I was organising without involving Dan Raven Ellison in some way.

He's someone I admire greatly, and have had the pleasure to work with on an number of projects going back about 17 years I think.... when we were both geography teachers with lots of ideas.

He has been involved with the development of Slow Ways.

Slow Ways is described as a (non)citizen guerrilla geography project.

Slow Ways is an initiative to create a network of walking routes that connect all of Great Britain’s towns and cities. Join this session to hear about the everyday geographies the initiative is encouraging and discover how you can get involved.
