Geography begins at home: making the most of your local area

As geographers we love to explore the wider world, but how often do we look at what is on our doorstep? 

Can we look at what is around us and show our students that Geography really is everywhere and that it is every day? This session will offer ideas to promote engagement in local geographies both in the classroom and for fieldwork.
