Geography for all is the Society's new programme that builds on the research of the Society, and others, which has highlighted the need to further address issues of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) within geography. This programme will pilot, evaluate and address school-based EDI initiatives with respect to the involvement (or otherwise) of young people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic and low-income backgrounds in geography. It will have a particular focus on supporting enhanced recruitment of such groups from GCSE geography into A Level and then onto studying the subject at university.
