Thanks to John McLaverty for a post which led me to an interesting Al Jazeera article. There is a link here to our smartphones, something that many of us pick up numerous times everyday - there are apps which will tell you just how many times, and for how many hours you stare at the screen.
The phone is also the first item that many of us touch in the morning, as shown in Paula Zuccotti's 'Everything we Touch'.
