'Cyclogeography' - Jon Day

This was one of the books I read over the Christmas and New Year period. It's a very nicely written book on the way that cycling couriers develop their own geography of the city they work in, which is different to the 'knowledge' that London cabbies have to develop, but also shares some similarities with the instant decisions on routes and calculations on distance.

Jon Day also explores the work of some familiar names that have kept recurring through the development of my Presidential theme - Georges Perec et al.

I liked the book very much. Check it out.
