A week ago, I went down to the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre to attend the ESRI User Conference at the QEII Conference.
It was the first face to face version for three years, and it was good to be back in the room and see the education team again, and also other teachers who have made a lot of use of GIS in their practice.
The scale of the event was as large as always. The plenaries had thousands of attendees, and the exhibition had grown since last time, along with the crowds attending the education strand ./ floor.
I had the chance to meet up with some interesting people.
Catch the recordings here. You'll need to enter a few details first.
I particularly recommend Jemma Wadham's session, and her book 'Ice Rivers'.
