The Bloomsbury Geographer

This is a student magazine which is produced by the UCL Geography Department.

When I looked today, there was an excellent article first up on the gig economy and dark kitchens. This is an area I've talked about before, with the role of data and apps in changing the idea of what makes a place.

I was also interested to read Brendan Koh's piece on whether geography is coming out of the closet, which included some very interesting additional references in the bibliography.

Don't forget that your 6th form students can always submit something to the Routes Journal which will get them into the style of academic writing that appears in journals such as this one.
