GPS pebbles for a beach survey

I like the look of this survey which is going to be launched at West Bay in Dorset.

Pebbles fitted with trackers are going to be placed on the beach to see how they move. Geographers explore the littoral drift of sediment through particular stretches of the coastline, and model how that might increase the risk of coastal erosion as beach profiles change.
