There are a great many resources linked to food which emerge all the time and many of them have been added here. This summer has seen a greater focus than previously on food prices, due to the squeeze on budgets due to the Government's mishandling of the energy price rises.
We have Brexit reducing the number of workers in industries such as agriculture, leading to crops rotting unpicked while the Government chases trade deals with countries like New Zealand (thousands of miles away, whereas the EU is less than an hour away) and negotiates terms which are unfavourable for British farmers...
The hot and dry weather due to climate change has placed pressure on water resources. Water companies have continued to pollute rivers and the sea while doing very little to improve or add to the infrastructure and storage capacity that is needed in a country where the driest parts of the country are the most heavily populated.
