Lancet Countdown is the work of a group of experts in the field of medicine, who have explored the growing inequities and issues that will happen as a result of the climate emergency, and are reporting on them.
Hugh Montgomery, one of the authors has suggested that we may well see an exodus from cities like London, which are particularly hot in the summer due to the density of buildings, air conditioning units etc. This matches with messages in Gaia Vince's
