"We regard Key Stage 3 as the intellectual powerhouse of the school.
If we provide an appropriately demanding curriculum for these three years, two things are likely to follow: pupils will have a strong grounding as preparation for KS4 in the core subjects & those subjects they select as an option and, just as importantly, those pupils who do not choose to take an exam in the subject will nevertheless have a legacy of interesting knowledge & ideas on which they can draw in the future."
