2041 Schools project

Take the Antarctic. In a way that’s the least legible of all places, it’s just a great white sheet – they call it the crystal continent. Yet that place which is the whitest and least legible of all our landscapes has had almost the most written about it.
Robert MacFarlane

Oddizzi has created a project themed around the Antarctic, and the important year of 2041
, when discussions will take place around the Antarctic Treaty and whether to keep the current protections that have been in place for decades and restrict use of the land and oceans in that region.

The region has seen dramatic changes, and there are growing fears about the stability of key ice masses which could have an impact on global sea levels.
