Stadium 974 is being dismantled. I blogged about this earlier in this set of posts.
This is apparently a symbol of how sustainable the games are, and much is made of the fact that the containers will be used again in 2030.
A more sustainable thing would of course have been to have the match in an existing stadium and only award the World Cup (or any other major sporting event) to a country which already has all the infrastructure in place...
Although you then have a situation where only rich countries could enjoy the soft power and other benefits that come from hosting an event on a global scale audience-wise.
