An interesting post on Mary Colwell's blog recently. It suggested that there are some delays perhaps in preparing the subject criteria for the proposed new GCSE in Natural History.
This was confirmed back in 2022, but it is important to have particular stages of developing a specification to be offered, and one of them is the development of subject criteria. These are approved by OFQUAL in consultation with other bodies and subject advisors. OCR are preparing the draft specification.
