The first of a series of posts on last week's GA Conference at Sheffield Hallam University.
After an abortive start with an exhaust problem I headed up to Sheffield via my old home haunts - skirting Wickersley and Rotherham and Meadowhall, where I was pleased to find the new Stuart Maconie book was at half price.
A good start so far.
Also headed off to the Fat Cat for an evening pint after checking in, and avoided the evening rain, which was also a bonus.
I'd come up early to avoid any transport delays and also finalise my own involvement.
