One of the main differences between a hybrid and a face-to-face conference attendance is the ability to attend the social events. I didn't get to every event, but attended the conference reception and dinner (now part of the delegate fee so remember to book your spot) which was held in Kelham Island Museum, which was open for us to look at the exhibits. You may be able to spot me in this image here, by the engine. The food was decent too. I hope this tradition continues.
There was the GA Teachmeet, which was recorded and is available (along with other recordings...)

There were several evenings in convivial company in local pubs including the classic venue of the Fat Cat (complete with Jarvis Cocker mural) and then onto Shakespeare's where whisky was taken. Add to that the impromptu chats, dinner dates and some other bits and you have a flavour for what is an additional element of any GA Conference.
