Sharon Witt and Helen Clarke were involved in two really useful sessions at the GA Conference 2023. See update at the bottom of this post.
The first was a fieldwork session with a focus on collaborating with places. This developed from a session I saw presented at Charney Manor Primary Geography conference.
This provided an expanded notion of fieldwork. They used a phrase which I heard quite a few times during the conference:
Encounters with the "more than human".
Thank you to all who came along and contributed to our #GAConf23 lecture Field-Visiting as a collective endeavour. We have now posted ‘Entangling-with places: a collaborative response’ : https://t.co/RAyt9D2iOS (with thanks to @geosteve7 for the photograph of the Cheviots) pic.twitter.com/fk87wO4fqN
