Plan 75

Plan 75 is a movie that was described in a recent article that I read in The Guardian. 

It was apparently shown at Cannes last year, and has taken this long to make it to general release.

A few reviews and articles about the film here and also on the Movie Waffler site, 

It references the dystopican film 'Soylent Green', which was set in 2022.

The demographics of Japan are quite worrying for the long term population trends. Replacement level is 2.1, Japan has a fertility rate of just 1.3 children per woman (on average of course...)

The film references a Japanese phenomenon called kodokushi - "lonely death"
