The British Museum has a useful new exhibit for those teaching about migration.
It follows the story of Issam Kourbaj's 'Precarious Passage', which is an artistic rendering of the journeys made by many thousands of people every day.
As the Bibby Stockholm welcomed its first residents this week (shortly afterwards they were removed...), it's a reminder of the way that this is framed by governments in such a way as to dehumanise and remove the focus from the individual decisions that are made... decisions we would make ourselves in the same circumstances: to aim for a better life for our children.
