Maxwell Street is a classic book on place from Tim Cresswell, which I have referred to in a number of resources and presentations over the years, particularly during my time as GA President when I produced a whole range of talks for different audiences. It was also mentioned in my GA Presidential lecture. I've blogged about the book previously.
It is an essential book for anyone interested in the theories of place and elements of cultural geography related to the development of theories of place.
