Drawing home - Owen Mathers

I came across the work of Norwich-based illustrator Owen Mathers on a BBC news story from BBC Norfolk asking about how museums of the future might tell the COVID pandemic story.

He had produced a book to help those who were at home during lockdown capture their home in visual form, and take part in some mindful drawing.

The booklet was available in printed form, but although that is no longer available, it can still be downloaded as a PDF and some of the activities would make a great activity with young people, perhaps as preps when it comes to a topic such as 'Geographies of Home' which we start Year 7 with....

Owen's work can be seen here.
