I started a new blog back in January 2023 to start filing away ideas that might be of use when the new specification for the GCSE in Natural History is finally released. We hoped 2023 might see some news but so far there hasn't been much.
Anthony Bennett and I also started a Facebook group for those who were interested in finding out more about the new specification and perhaps teaching it when it is finally released.
I posted the 100th post on the blog earlier this weekend.
There are plenty of ideas there already which I can dive back into once we have some more meat on the bones.
The Facebook group is here if you want to join it. There are 3 questions to answer before you will be admitted as it is very much a group for teachers, with a focus on the specification and the subject. Hopefully there will be some news about progress before too long. I've just deleted a post with someone trying to flog something... it's not for that purpose.
