The Food Museum was new to me, but interested to see that it is in Stowmarket: not too far from where I live, or where I teach.

The Food Museum is set across 84 acres of glorious Suffolk countryside. We have 17 fascinating buildings to explore and close to 40,000 objects in our collection – from wartime ration recipes to a full size steam-powered mill engine.There’s always something going on at the Food Museum. This is a possible place to visit with students. There is an education programme which is perhaps better suited for younger students, and not necessarily always closely enough linked to geography.
