Oak - KS3 next

I've been involved in the creation of the Oak National Primary Geography resources for KS1 and 2. These are emerging over on the Oak site.

It's now been announced that the GA is the curriculum partner for the KS3 resources, which will be available by September 2025.

It's been an interesting project to be involved in so far.

GA Chief Executive, Steve Brace, said:

“The GA is delighted to have been selected to provide the KS3 Geography programme for Oak Academy. As Ofsted identified in their 2023 ‘Getting Our Bearings’ inspection report, there is the need for additional professional support for geography teachers, especially if they do not have a geographical subject specialist background. Our new KS3 resources for Oak will help address this need and also add to our existing programme of work with Oak to support geography at KS1 and KS2.
