Football and geography

Thanks to my colleague Andy Marshall for sending me a picture of this shirt: apparently the Partick Thistle 3rd shirt for the 2023-24 season.

The white base is decorated with an aerial depiction of the local Maryhill area of Glasgow - in the famous red and yellow (with grey) - with Thistle’s “Wyre Stadium at Firhill” home featuring prominently, and also a school where he used to teach, so a personal  connection there too.
