RGS East: Lecture in Norwich on Antarctica

The RGS has a number of regional committees which organise events around the country. Out to Norwich School yesterday evening to see a lecture by Honorary Professor Andrew Clarke.

It was organised by the Eastern regional committee of the RGS-IBG.

The lecture was very clear and nicely presented and had plenty of useful information. This will be helpful for a book I am currently working on. Was also good to meet up with Icelandic legend Tony Escritt and catch up after having lunch with him last year.

There was mention made of South Georgia Heritage Trust's Rodent eradication programme. I wrote an educational resource about that a few years ago and it can be found here.
