I've often been on the fringes of activity that could be called psychogeography.
The annual conferences on Psychogeography were held in Huddersfield for some years, where I studied.
Mission:Explore could be described as being quite psychogeographical in nature.
I also included references to the work of Walter Benjamin, Georges Perec and Kevin Boniface in my GA Presidential lecture with its theme of Everyday Geographies.
I have previously presented to the Leeds Psychogography group on our work on these books, in the Parkinson building as it happens.
The social media from this year's World Congress introduced me to the work of Jack Lowe.
He is currently based at UWE and is developing a game based around What 3 Words: the geolocation tool I have blogged about numerous times, not least because we were visited by the co-founder a few years ago, and many buildings on our school campus have W3W signs.
He has a series of interesting projects available here.
The What 3 Words project has some potential for school use I think.
