I've just finished my last guiding assignment for Rayburn Tours for this year. I would love to do more, and when I finish teaching that's one of my plans, but I will be back in 2025.
It was up to Iceland again...
Visited some familiar places, and one new one: the headland at Dyrholaey... which wasn't worth the detour. Mixed weather, but we had the bonus of the northern lights on the final night, which is always a privilege to see....Images: Laugarvatn - boat by the lake and Northern Lights - images by Alan Parkinson, shared on Flickr under CC license.
