I mentioned that this was coming a few weeks ago and it's now here.
The Environment Agency has updated their risk of flooding from sea, rivers and surface water maps available on the "Check your long term flood risk" website
These are based on the latest National Flood Risk Assessment modelling and data, which the EA has been working on over the past 4 years. This includes the potential impacts of climate change, higher resolution mapping, and new data on depth of flooding.
Updates to the Flood map for planning service (flood zones) will be published in March.
