Record low sea-ice... which is further bad news

I've blogged quite a few times about stories that I first taught about years ago which were possibly going to happen by 2100, but which are happening right now... or in the next decade or so.

These formed part of the broad glaciation topic which formed part of the Cambridge 'A' level that I taught back in the 1980s.

One of them related to the effect of shrinking sea ice, which would increase the albedo in Polar regions and lead to a further reduction in sea ice...
