Another term-time Wednesday means it's time for another Worldly Wednesday.
Today was a day of various meetings on Zoom. In between it was a Jethro Tull day - listening to various live performances when they were in their prime in the mid 70s to 80s. I have the pleasure of seeing them live numerous times over the decades.
I also had some deadlines to meet regarding pupil reports - over 100 to finish writing and upload.
First meeting was about a new writing project which I'm going to be involved with through to the end of the year. There's plenty still to think about here, and a growing author team. Was good to meet some more people involved today and firm up the plans a little. Time to work out 30 exciting new enquiry topics that haven't been used before!
Next up was a meeting about a project with the Geographical Association, Environmental Agency and Cornwall County Council. If you are coming along to the GA Conference, find our colleagues from the Environment Agency in the Exhibition Space. They will be demonstrating the new project which will be having a soft launch there. You'll also find out more about the project(s).
I will be at the GA Conference on the afternoon of the 16th of April only.
Next up was to finalise and publish the latest LivingGeography newsletter on Substack.
Subscribe and it will drop into your email each Wednesday with a whole host of other geographical information.
Also some 'interesting' news about the new OCR B update which had been due to be taught for the first time from September 2025. OCR B teachers will have heard the news.
This was followed up by another Zoom call on another project - working on some responses to expert reviewers' comments. Interesting and plenty to think about.
And throughout the day that was interspersed with finalising some of the 100+ reports I have to finalise and upload by Friday....
