Shipwreck in Kerala

A shocking Guardian report on a shipwreck off the coast of Kerala, India which has deposited huge amounts of plastic nurdles into the water as containers broke open and were lost.

The Liberian-flagged container ship, the MSC Elsa 3, capsized and sank 13 miles off the coast of Kerala, in May, and the nurdles are now causing devastation to fish stocks locally.
