It explores the lives of those people who live their lives when the rest of us are asleep.
In my final year of undergraduate studies I was definitely a night owl and enjoyed working on my essays when the student house was more likely to be asleep.
Even now, given the chance, I like to stay up late. I think when I retire I will be one of those who does more travelling in the early hours when the roads are quieter, particularly when I have a long journey to make.
We are about to return to the dark evenings however, which is not so good compared to the warm nights of summer.
I have several books on my shelf on this theme as well. They include 'Under the Stars' by Matt Gaw, 'At Night' by Dixe Wills and 'The Light in the Dark' by Horatio Clare.
