The Wandering Turnip

Simon Pinfield shared news of an RGS podcast which sounds to be of interest. I'm going to take a listen.

I recently combined my usual role (as the behind-the-scenes podcast producer) with some interview contributions alongside our Ask the Geographer podcast host Rachel Owen. It was excellent to meet and talk to David Burnip (aka The Wandering Turnip) at the Society, to discuss various topics including the decline of the High Street, regeneration, sense of place and coastal erosion in the UK. It was fabulous to hear stories from his vast and fascinating wandering to many different places.
